7 Day Queen Elizabeth NP with Gorillas & Chimps

Day to Day Itinerary

Our guide/driver representative will either meet you at Entebbe Airport or any of your booked accommodation. He will give you highlights of the up coming trip. Following breakfast, we will set off on our trip. We will take you through Mityana, Mubende, Kyenjojo and Fort highway up to Kibale forest national park. This area is a primatologist's dream. It hosts a population of more than 1450 chimpanzees,of which three communities have been habituated to tourist visits ( with a fourth one is almost ready). In fact, these three have got a population of over 450 chimpanzees. This means there are many chances of seeing them in dozens! Time allowing you will have a walk within Bigodi wetlands for bird watching and then get back to your booked accommodation. Overnight:- Kibale forest camp

After an early breakfast we will make our way to the forest to meet up with the Uganda wildlife Authority ranger guides for briefing.  You will have an amazing experience with the chimpanzees, either choose to do a Chimpanzee habituation or regular Chimpanzee tracking. The difference being that tracking takes 4 hours and the habituation experience takes the full day. When done ,we will drive to our booked accommodation. Overnight:- Kibale forest camp

After an early breakfast we will head back to the safari vehicle and drive through the craters, getting a top view of the craters, and thereafter, we will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National park for an evening game drive. There we expect to see Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Antelopes, but with nature it's hard to guarantee you that you will have to see the big Cats. That said depending on the luck of the day we might come across Lions, Leopard and hyenas. Overnight:- Kasenyi Safari Camp

We will wake up very early morning for breakfast, following which we will enjoy an early morning game drive and the same afternoon we shall Navigate the tropical channels ( teaming up with Hippos and crocs and a lot if different species of birds) before setting off into the misty mountains to stare deep into the eyes of mountain Gorilla. Thereafter the Boat Cruise, we will get back to our booked accommodation for a shower, dinner and sleep. Overnight:- Kasenyi Safari Camp

Day 5

We will wake up very early morning, have breakfast, pack your stuff and get back to your safari vehicle to drive through the southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park. There we might come across Tree Climbing Lions! This will be a continuation journey to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. After this it will be late, so we will check in our booked accommodation, have shower, dinner and go to Bed. Overnight:- Bwindi View Lodge

We will wake up very early morning for breakfast, you will want to pack a lunch with enough drinking water, sun cream, insect repellant and as well be dressed with hiking shoes, long sleeved shirt plus a warm sweater and a rain coat because weather is unpredictable in a rainy forest like Bwindi.
